USA ProHealth worked closely with Conquent, a Portland Oregon web design team, to create this website. This page provides a little background to our visitors about what Conquent was able to do for USA ProHealth.

Content Management
Conquent has been developing basic content management tools since 1999, so the idea was pretty straightforward. USA ProHealth needed a way to post articles and news, but they added the wrinkle of audio files. Sure, you can upload an audio file just like any file, but if you have a 6 MB mp3, you don.t want to spend the time downloading it to listen.
Conquent.s programmers and Flash designers came together to create a tool which allows USA ProHealth to use existing content management tools, yet play the mp3 directly in the browser in a little Flash player, driven from the database with dynamic playlist. As techie as the backend was to develop, it all works so seamlessly to the visitor and USA ProHealth.s staff that there.s no training to use it. Upload and listen, on the fly.
Custom Internet Programming
As with the content management, secured backend systems are old hat to Conquent.s team. But the trick here was two levels of access -- you sign up to get some special information on the USA ProHealth website, and you immediately get to view some of the information.
But, there.s information on the website that you are only allowed to see once the USA ProHealth team has approved your membership. This two-layered security required the Conquent programmers to create a couple new tools and modify some old ones. The result is instant gratification, and solid long-term security.
Graphic Design
As with most of our projects, the Conquent Graphics team created a fresh, new interface to support the company culture and personality at USA ProHealth. Starting with the obvious red, white and blue, the designers avoided flag-waving clichés while creating a solid, clean look that supports dynamic content and static pages alike.
